| tingerguia | for future reference , dont put your succulents out in the sun thinking they can handle it right away . Put them out for a few hours each day , & slowly add hours each time {i.e. [Week 1] - 2 hours sunlight [Week 2] - 3-4 hours sunlight [Week 3] - 5-6 hours sunlight} ALSO , do NOT water your succulents & then put them directly in sunlight — THIS WILL CAUSE THE LEAVES TO BURN !! Instead , water the soil around the base of the plants rather than watering & getting the leaves wet ! | olivia | great advice ! soil should be dry to the touch at least 1 inch deep from the top . One more thing , I promise !! Watering too much or not enough , the leaves seem to have the same ‘symptoms’ - wrinkly , withering leaves . So sometimes it is very hard to decipher which is the problem .
